We take you through what your day will be like on the finest Fort Lauderdale Boat Tour Cruise of the Riverfront!
Your day starts as you are greeted by one of our friendly cruise ticket booth attendants who will provide you with your boarding tickets for the boat tour.
You will then make your way over to Riverfront Cruises. At the boarding ramp our photographer will welcome you aboard and take a souvenir photograph of you and your party that will be a great keepsake of your cruise with us.
Once you board the vessel you can decide whether to sit upstairs on the ship's observation deck under the canopy cover or perhaps you want to enjoy the Florida sunshine. You may decide to sit inside in our air-conditioned dining room which features panoramic windows. No matter where you sit, you will have a great view of the beautiful sights and attractions Fort Lauderdale has to offer.
As we get underway, you may want to visit the bar to enjoy a beverage from our full-liquor bar. Our bartenders are famous for our delicious Riverfront Cruises Tropical Punch. Our snack bar offers tasty snacks like hot dogs and chips, and deliciously refreshing ice cream.

As we depart our dock, you admire the skyline of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Our Cruise Ship Captain begins his narration and your tour begins. The boat glides under the Andrews Avenue Bridge and you see the Broward County Courthouse and Jail. The Courthouse has been the sight of legal battles such as the famous election recount from 2000 involving Gore vs. Bush and the funeral case of Anna Nicole Smith.
The boat tour makes it's way outbound along the New River and as you look to your left, you see the Stranahan House, built in 1901 and originally owned by Frank and Ivy Stranahan. The house was built in the New River Settlement in what would later become Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale is celebrating its centennial or 100th anniversary in 2011.
The cruise continues along the New River and we pass over US Highway 1 and the Henry Kinney tunnel. Next we begin our Fort Lauderdale tour of the famous Millionaire's Row which stretches from Tarpon Bend all the way out to the Intracoastal Waterway. As you look around, you see multi-million dollar homes lining the river banks. Your Captain will tell you about the celebrities, CEO's, millionaires and billionaires who own these magnificent properties. As we approach the Intracoastal Waterway, we turn south and head for Port Everglades. Port Everglades is home to the busiest cruise ship seaport in the United States. Many of the world's major cruise lines operate ships from our Port, including Carnival, Celebrity, Cunard, Discovery Cruise Lines, Holland America, Princess Cruise Lines, The two largest cruise ships in the world, Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas and the Allure of the Seas both depart from Fort Lauderdale's Sea Port. You may be fortunate enough to see a visiting U.S. naval ship in Port. Port Everglades had had the honor of hosting the commissioning ceremonies for the USS Cole, USS Bainbridge and most recently the USS Jason Dunham. Looking eastward, you see the Point of the Americas and the outlet to the Atlantic Ocean.
Your Captain spins the boat and the tour of Fort Lausrdal heads back north on the Intracoastal Waterway, also called the ICW. As we pass under the 17th Street Causeway Bridge, you see the Fort Lauderdale Grande Hotel and Marina on your left and the Hyatt Pier 66 Hotel and Marina on your right. Looking at the beautiful yachts docked along the Intracoastal Water Way, you begin to realize why Fort Lauderdale is knows as the "yachting capitol of the world." Next we head over to the Bahia Mar Hotel and Marina and see more spectacular yachts. Each October, the Bahia Mar Marina is host to the annual Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, the largest Yacht and Boat Show in the World!
Your tour continues as we turn the boat around and head back up the New River. If you are lucky, you may see exotic iguanas along the rocks of the riverbank or perhaps a manatee swimming lazily along. This is a good time to refresh your beverage and to purchase your souvenir photo.
Once back at the dock at the Las Olas Riverfront, the mate bids you farewell until the next time you cruise with us!
